How to Manifest Losing Weight

Today I want to teach you about the power of affirmation.

When I first started doing my daily affirmation, I actually paid someone to record a 60 second affirmation for me which I listened to every morning before I got out of bed. No joke and it worked too!

People consistently underestimate just how important getting your head in the game is -- especially when it comes to optimizing your results.

If affirmations are a little hard for you…

Then let’s come from a place that allows you to be OK as you are.

Criticism doesn’t change anything.  It’s just more negativity.

Why not view affirmations as nurturing positive thoughts.  If you want to make REAL lasting change it’s essential you stop criticizing yourself.

If you need some guidance in coming up with simple affirmations, here are some tips to help guide you:

  • Make sure your affirmation is realistic and believable to your life and goals

  • Use the present tense. Believe whatever you’re writing is true RIGHT NOW

  • Use emotion to make it more personal instead of just writing or saying something

  • Use “I” in your affirmations. I appreciate..., I am..., I believe…, I am doing...

Consider the following two people, and then decide who you'd bet on succeeding.

Person 1

This person wakes up every morning and thinks, "Today is the best day ever! I've got my food planned and I can't wait to feel good when I move my body today. I know with every fiber of my being that I'm on the right track.  I am becoming healthier and more fit every day!"

OR...

Person 2

This person wakes up every morning and thinks, "I hate how tired I am! This diet is hard, I don’t want to eat these foods, and the workouts are tough and time consuming. Besides, even if I stick with the program, I'm not sure this is really gonna work. After all, nothing ever goes right for me."

Okay. I may have made it way too easy to choose the ace in the hole, but the point is to understand how truly important self-talk is.

If you say you're tired, you'll be tired. If you say you hate working out, you'll hate working out. You have the ability to change your day by simply saying even one positive thing about yourself - I am strong.

Whether or not you resemble person 1, 2, or are somewhere in the middle right now, creating your daily affirmations will motivate you to achieve your goals and put you in the right state of mind each and every day.

It’s important to do this in the morning to start your day off in a positive mindset. Manifest the way the rest of your day will go.

It's been a very powerful tool for me and an essential part of my morning routine. I started silently reading a small paragraph on an index card several years ago and have since evolved into listening to a 5-minute speech I recorded about what I want to achieve in my life.

This daily affirmation is designed to remind you of your goals and values and set you up for success throughout the day. It is also designed to bring you a sense of gratitude.

Once you begin the process of healing your self-talk and outlook on your day, your approach to living a healthier life will change.

I AM positive, I AM confident, I AM successful - I AM HEALTHY.
